Gemur is a small village in HImanchal which is just 4 kms before Jispa. It's surrounded by beautiful mountains and river. The village has a population of 60 of which 30 are males while 30 are females as per Population Census 2011. Nestled in a serene ambience and surrounded by snow capped mountains, meadows ,trees and over-looking river Bhaga are several luxury camps /tents where one can stay and enjoy pristine nature. There is a monastery which contains a sculpture of the goddess 'Marichi Vajravarahi' which dates back to the 11th-12th century AD. The monastery also contains ancient Buddhist miniature paintings, wall paintings, stupas, statues and Buddhist artifacts. One can also pay a visit to Khamsar Khar a castle made up of 104 dusty and barely lit rooms in five storeys of brooding mud-walls
